What is the best way to share Nutrilite™ products? This is one of the most frequently asked questions that I hear from people during my travels as Nutrilite’s Global Brand Ambassador. Decades later, it still is. While today’s digital marketplace is dramatically different from the local networks we fostered in days gone by, people still want one thing.
From Generation Z to baby boomers and beyond, people of all generations still prefer to do business with those they trust.
Trust is the focus of my six-step plan to share Nutrilite™ products with success. Over the years, I’ve watched business owners achieve amazing success when they following the plan. In fact, I believe it is one of the most important predictors of business success, especially in today’s digital world.
My Six-Step Plan to Share Nutrilite™ Products
If you are unfamiliar with my six-step plan, here is primer to get you up to speed quickly so that you too can run your business like a pro.
Step 1: Use the product
Before sharing Nutrilite™ products, I encourage you to become your first and best client so you can experience product benefits firsthand. Plus, the sooner you do this, the sooner you will tap into what Einstein called the eighth wonder of the world: Compounding.
Of course, Einstein was talking about compounding interest and how it helps you grow your money exponentially, earning interest on previously earned interest, ad infinitum.
But, the idea of compounding can also relate to your health. When you invest in your health, you compound your opportunity for success later in life. The earlier you start, the better. You’ll be healthier, year after year, which means you’ll be more capable of achievement, year after year.
How do you compound health? Start young if you can, or at least start now. Nourish your body with healthy foods, energize with regular exercise, and rejuvenate with plenty of rest, laughter and quality time with friends and family. Add Nutrilite™ products to your routine to help fully nourish your body and mind. You’ll soon find it’s a good feeling that you’ll want to share with others.
Step 2: Learn about the product
The idea of compounding applies to knowledge too. Learn as much as you can about the product and role of nutrition and supplements in achieving and maintaining optimal health. Learn all you can about the unique features and benefits of Nutrilite™ products, including its Best of Nature, Best of Science advantage that separates it from the competition.
I know all this learning takes time, and our daily demands can leave us with little of it. In another post, I talked about how you can use a simple strategy to find time during your day so you can quickly make progress towards mastering a new subject, including nutrition and the Nutrilite™ brand.
Step 3: Be a product of the product
Leading by example is the most powerful tool we have for inspiring others. We need to follow our own advice, teach by our actions, and do whatever we would ask of others. When we do this, we become a magnet for people eager to learn about healthy living and Nutrilite.
I see this repeatedly in successful Amway leaders who have focused on being a product of the product. Their vitality, energy and healthy outlook tells the Nutrilite story for them.
Being a product of the product can do the same for you.
Step 4: Become a friend
In all the studies that I have read about why people purchase products like Nutrilite™ food supplements — high-quality, unique products, backed by science — the key factor is usually because the products are recommended by someone they believe in and trust.
By being a friend first, you earn the trust of your potential customer and are able to make a stronger impact in helping them achieve optimal health. Survey after survey tells us that people buy a unique, quality product, not so much because of advertising, but because the product has been recommended by someone they believe in, someone they trust. (Yes, the idea of compounding applies to friendship, too.)
Step 5: Share the Product
Once someone is ready to make a change, then it’s time to share Nutrilite™ products and the concepts of optimal health. As a friend, you can help people on their path to optimal health and perhaps a better business opportunity. I believe this is the most important step.
You’ll want to help your customers answer three key questions: “Why do I need a food supplement?,” “What supplements do I need?,” and “What makes Nutrilite™ products the very best?”
By helping your potential customers answer these three questions, you will not only help them achieve optimal health, but you will help foster a strong business relationship as they build their own business.
Step 6: Give great customer service
Great customer service has always been a mainstay of good business. After all, it’s the most direct pathway to repeat business. Plus, satisfied consumers not only continue to buy from you, but they also refer others to you.
In today’s digital world, great customer service is more important than ever. Why? Today’s consumers are faced with an ever-increasing number of products, filled with promises delivered with a simple voice command. It’s a crowded space that can leave even savvy consumers feeling confused, or worse frustrated. Food supplements are no exception. With great customer service, you can help customers cut through all this noise to find quality products that address their individual nutritional needs.
